Thakoon Panichgul was born in Thailand before he immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. After growing up in Oklahoma, Panichgul relocated to Boston to study business and later became a fashion writer in New York. In 2004 he created his own label, Thakoon, which is distinctly feminine and fuses youthful and sporty qualities. While his wares are available to everyone at the finest outlets, including Barneys, they have also been picked up by the most celebrated women around the globe, including first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.

Disaya Prokobsantisukh, who attended the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Fashion and Design in the UK, had worked with John Galliano prior to creating her own unique style, which has been called eccentric and yet elegant and is deeply inspired by London, her adopted hometown. Disaya launched her fashion career with a lingerie label, Boudoir by Disaya, which was first presented at Elle Fashion Week in 2004. Disaya has since expanded her line to include ready-to-wear clothing and costume jewelry that have been adorned by superstars Jennifer Lopez and Any Winehouse.

Phisit Jongnarangsin is a graduate of Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn University, where he is occasionally a guest lecturer describing his experiences in the fashion world, including the organization of such fashion events as the 2006 Bangkok Fashion Week and the Tube Gallery, of which he was co-founder.

Pim Sukhahuta began her design career alongside her two sisters in 2002. Their label "Sretsis" reflects this partnership as the name is literally "Sisters" spelled backwards. The Sretsis label is both girly and glitzy, but features designs that are classy and minimalist at the same time. Pim studied at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York and quickly became a creative, young Thai fashion designer whose 2008 collection fused influences from the contemporary world with ideas from her own boundless imagination. In particular, Pim recently made use of digital printing made famous by one of Thailand’s most renowned illustrators, O-Terawat Teenprasit. Sretsis showrooms are in located in Bangkok (Siam Paragon, Central Chidlom, Emporium and Gayson Plaza), New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Sydney.

Mollika Ruangkritya is an instrumental Thai fashion designer with the Thai brand Kloset, which recently blended masculinity and femininity to create ladies-wear that highlights the tender side of women while taking inspiration from 50’s style rock and roll.

Chanita Preechawitayakul is a Thai designer for Senada, a popular Thai label that appeals to young and enthusiastic women who appreciate fashion design from around the world.
